Islamabad: Pakistan's armed forces continue their ground and air operations against Afghan Taliban and Fitna al Khawarij.

According to Radio Pakistan, security sources reported that the Pakistan Army conducted successful operations against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna-ul-Khawarij on the Pakistan-Afghan border in North and South Waziristan, destroying several of their posts. The enemy was compelled to abandon their positions and flee.

As a result of the Pakistan Army's operation, several Afghan Taliban members were killed, while the remaining forces retreated.
