Makkah: Pakistani intending pilgrims will enjoy historic facilities in Mashair. This was announced by Director Hajj Makkah, Azizullah Khan, during an interview with Radio Pakistan’s correspondent Abdul Rehman Cheema.
According to Radio Pakistan, for the first time in history, Hujjaj will be provided with sofa-cum-beds instead of traditional mattresses. The tents have been upgraded with gypsum board walls, and air coolers have been replaced with air conditioners to enhance comfort. Additionally, elevated luggage storage racks have been introduced for the convenience of the pilgrims.
The Director further elaborated that dedicated sections are in place to oversee food, health, and transport-related arrangements around the clock, ensuring maximum facilitation for the pilgrims. These improvements aim to provide a seamless and comfortable experience for those undertaking the pilgrimage.
Regarding the distribution of Nusuk Cards, Khan stated that over 99 percent of the cards have already been issued to the pilgrims who have arrived in the Holy Land. This efficient distribution process ensures that pilgrims have all necessary documentation in place upon their arrival.
Azizullah Khan also lauded the role of the State Broadcaster, Radio Pakistan, for its efforts in providing crucial information and raising awareness among the guests of Allah and their families. The broadcaster’s role has been instrumental in keeping the pilgrims and their families informed about the new facilities and arrangements.
