New york: The six-member Pakistan parliamentary delegation led by Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has reached the United Nations headquarters in New York.

According to Radio Pakistan, the parliamentary delegation will participate in different sessions of the 2026 IPU Parliamentary Hearing over the course of two days on Thursday and Friday. The Chairman Senate is set to deliver a national statement during the inaugural session on the topic of "The UN at 80: Renewing trust and purpose through cooperation and partnership."

On this occasion, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani will also engage in meetings with the President of the UN General Assembly as well as the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union on the sidelines of the Annual Parliamentary Hearing today.
