Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhary, stated that the entire Pakistani nation is resolute and united against terrorism, emphasizing that no incident can shake the country's resolve to eliminate this menace. He made these remarks while speaking to newsmen during his visit to the site of a bomb blast in Islamabad on Friday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister of State highlighted that terrorists are being successfully eliminated through a comprehensive national strategy. He noted that in their frustration, these terrorists are now targeting soft spots such as mosques and imambargahs. Talal Chaudhary asserted that the nation's objective in the war against terrorism is clear, and Pakistan is committed to winning this fight.
Talal Chaudhary further condemned the killing of innocent people under the guise of religion or so-called Baloch nationalism, labeling it as outright terrorism that has no connection to religion or nationalism. He alleged that there is irrefutable evidence of India's involvement and sponsorship of terrorists, who are reportedly trained in Afghanistan and then used to carry out heinous acts inside Pakistan.
The Minister of State reiterated that Pakistan has repeatedly requested Afghanistan not to serve as a proxy for India in fomenting terrorism.
