Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has asserted that Pakistan will never beg for dialogue with India. He emphasized that while Pakistan is open to engaging in a composite dialogue with India, it would only do so in a dignified and respectful manner. The dialogue would cover all outstanding issues, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, aligning with Pakistan's longstanding position on these matters.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar highlighted that Pakistan's narrative was acknowledged globally through proactive diplomacy during the recent stand-off with India. He responded to inquiries about a statement by the Indian Naval Chief by affirming that Pakistan's Armed Forces demonstrated their capabilities in air and land during this year's conflict with India. He also stated Pakistan's readiness to respond aggressively to any acts of aggression by India, including those by sea.
The Deputy Prime Minister described his recent international visits to the United States, United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia as highly successful and positive. He praised the Bangladeshi media for their extensive coverage of his engagements in Dhaka.
Ishaq Dar also mentioned that Pakistan's diplomatic relations with China and other regional and international countries are progressing positively. He reiterated Pakistan's advocacy for a two-state solution to the Palestine issue, supporting the establishment of a sovereign, viable, and independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
