Pakistan Welcomes International Investors with Renewed Interest: Aurangzeb

Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has announced that Pakistan is open for business, highlighting a renewed interest from international investors. He made this statement during the Pakistan Investment Roundtable hosted by the Pakistan High Commissioner in London.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aurangzeb emphasized that Pakistan has successfully completed all IMF reviews on schedule, resulting in three rating upgrades. He highlighted the government's commitment to macro-economic stabilization and its vigorous pursuit of sustained growth. The Finance Minister pointed out that a structural reforms agenda is being implemented, which aims to empower the private sector.

Aurangzeb further noted that fiscal consolidation efforts are yielding positive results, evidenced by a primary surplus, deficit compression, revenue mobilization, and significant progress in institutional and fiscal reforms.
