Islamabad: Pakistan and Trkiye have reiterated their dedication to ensuring peace and stability in the region. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephonic conversation with Trkiye's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, to discuss various diplomatic initiatives and collaborative efforts.

According to Radio Pakistan, during their discussion, Foreign Minister Fidan acknowledged Pakistan's significant role in fostering dialogue and diplomacy. The conversation also highlighted the Pakistan-China Five-Point Initiative, which is instrumental in promoting peace and stability in the Gulf and Middle East regions.

Both leaders expressed their mutual commitment to maintaining regional peace and stability. They agreed to stay in close contact regarding regional developments and issues of mutual concern.
