Lahore: Pakistan have defeated Bangladesh by 37 runs in the first T-20 international of the three-match series in Lahore tonight. Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 201 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
According to Radio Pakistan, Bangladesh, in response, were all out on 164 runs. The match saw a significant contribution from all-rounder Shadab Khan, who scored 48 runs and took two wickets, earning him the Player of the Match award.
The series will continue with the second match scheduled for Friday, followed by the third and final match on Sunday.
