London: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Muhammad Faisal, has stated that any aggression from India will be met with a firm response from Pakistan. In an interview, Dr Faisal emphasized Pakistan’s readiness to retaliate, referencing the country’s response to the 2019 Pulwama attack as an example of its capabilities.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr Faisal highlighted that while Pakistan is equipped to respond with full force, it remains committed to pursuing peace and resolving issues through dialogue. He addressed India’s allegations against Pakistan concerning the Pehlagam incident, firmly rejecting them and pointing out instances where accusations against Pakistan were later found to have originated from within India.
Dr Faisal identified the Jammu and Kashmir dispute as the root cause of the conflict between India and Pakistan. He criticized India for not honoring its commitment to the United Nations Security Council to grant the right to self-determination to the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
