Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Tourism, Sardar Yasir Ilyas, has announced that Pakistan is set to host an international Tourism Road Expo in November this year.
According to Radio Pakistan, Yasir Ilyas revealed that the government is actively working on reviving and restructuring the National Tourism Coordination Board to enhance the country’s tourism sector. He emphasized Pakistan’s potential as a travel destination, highlighting its natural beauty, historic monuments, rare cultural heritage, and diverse religious sites. These attributes position Pakistan as a lucrative market for tourism, with the potential to generate an estimated thirty to forty billion dollars annually.
