Islamabad:Pakistan has completed the necessary arrangements to increase its rice exports to Malaysia, following directives from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the efforts of various ministries and officials.
According to Radio Pakistan, an additional seventy thousand metric tons of Pakistani rice are set to be exported to Malaysia between October and December of this year. This increase in exports has been achieved through effective diplomatic and trade negotiations aligned with the Prime Minister's strategy.
A statement from the Prime Minister's office revealed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his appreciation for the team's efforts in securing these additional exports. He emphasized that this development is significant for the prosperity of farmers and the national economy.
Prime Minister Sharif also highlighted the government's priority to expand access to international markets for Pakistani agricultural products. He reiterated Pakistan's commitment to pursuing export-led economic growth through continued efforts.
