Islamabad:Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, Ali Sher Takhtayev, met with Haroon Akhtar Khan, the Adviser to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production.

According to Radio Pakistan, Haroon Akhtar Khan expressed Pakistan's eagerness to elevate its economic relations with Uzbekistan, focusing on strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, exports, and tourism.

He emphasized Pakistan's commitment to expanding bilateral economic engagement with Uzbekistan, aiming to transform the longstanding brotherly relations into more robust trade, investment, and commercial partnerships.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side extended an invitation to a Pakistani delegation to visit Uzbekistan. The visit would include meetings with governors of various Uzbek provinces to explore opportunities for enhanced trade, investment, and business-to-business cooperation.
