Pakistan Rejects Fake News by Indian Magazine ‘Firstpost’

Islamabad: Pakistan has categorically rejected the fake and misleading news by Indian magazine Firstpost regarding an alleged agreement between the Pakistan military and the US and Israeli intelligence agencies.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting emphatically clarified that Pakistan has never recognized Israel, nor has there been any discussion on any kind of military deployment. The Ministry debunked the Indian concoction, describing it as a ridiculous piece of reporting by Indian media, and reiterated Pakistan’s policy stance in support of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

The Ministry made it clear that neither the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, known as ISPR, nor the Foreign Office has supported or announced any Pakistani military mission in Gaza. The Ministry maintained that Firstpost violated journalistic principles by picking sentences out of context from a private newspaper and propagating them as ‘intelligence leaks’.

It was further mentioned by the Ministry that the references quoted by Firstpost are from a media outlet that has published unverified information in the past. The Indian magazine Firstpost had made the fabricated and baseless claim that the Pakistani military has entered into some agreement with the US intelligence agency CIA and Israeli agency Mossad, also contending that Pakistan will send 20,000 soldiers to Gaza under the agreement.
