Islamabad: Pakistan has reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging international best practices, fostering collaboration with Saudi Arabia, and driving forward the economic and social transformation agenda. This dedication was underscored during a workshop titled "Saudi-Pak Economic Collaboration Taskforce - Pakistan Transformation." According to Radio Pakistan, the workshop was attended by key figures including Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Prime Minister's Coordinator Rana Ehsan, Ambassador at Large Salman Ahmed, Advisor to the Finance Minister Khurram Shehzad, all Federal Secretaries, senior government officers from the federal government, and representatives from provincial governments who participated virtually. In his address to the participants, the Finance Minister highlighted the importance of learning from Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which he described as an exemplary model of robust implementation strategies. Emphasizing the focus on "People, Process, and Technology," he stressed the need to adopt practices that ensure successful transformation outcomes, while taking into account Pakistan's unique socio-economic context. Minister Aurangzeb further remarked that reforms should not only be implemented but also institutionalized, thus making them difficult to reverse. This approach is crucial in ensuring long-term stability and progress in Pakistan's governance and economic systems. The workshop is viewed as a significant step in the ongoing collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. It aims to enhance economic ties and share best practices for governance and transformation, indicating a strong commitment from both nations towards mutual growth and development.
