Pakistan, Qatar Reaffirm Resolve to Strengthen Fraternal Ties

Islamabad: Pakistan and Qatar have reaffirmed their resolve to further strengthen the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries. This commitment was emphasized during a telephonic conversation between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to Radio Pakistan, the conversation was warm and cordial, with both leaders extending heartiest felicitations to each other on the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan. They prayed for the peace and tranquility of the Ummah, underscoring the importance of unity during this sacred period.

Prime Minister Sharif expressed deep appreciation for Qatar's diplomatic efforts, led by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, to foster peace and reconciliation in the Middle East and other regions. The leaders also discussed regional and international developments, reiterating their commitment to work together to promote peace, stability, and prosperity both regionally and globally.

In a post on social media platform X, Prime Minister Sharif described the telephonic conversation with Sheikh Tamim as warm and cordial. He highlighted their exchange of felicitations for Ramadan and mutual prayers for the Ummah's peace and unity. The Prime Minister also reaffirmed the shared resolve to enhance the fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar, and praised Qatar's diplomatic initiatives under Sheikh Tamim's leadership to advance peace and reconciliation efforts in the Middle East and beyond.
