Karachi: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervez Malik, Minister for Power Sardar Owais Laghari, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah met Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi on Sunday. During the meeting, they discussed proposals for the next fiscal year’s federal budget and potential relief measures for the public.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions included measures and reforms aimed at maintaining fiscal discipline, enhancing economic and agricultural growth, and providing relief to citizens. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed optimism, noting that it is a positive sign that consultations are being made regarding the upcoming budget.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized that the country is now on a trajectory of economic development, indicating a focus on fiscal responsibility and growth in key sectors.
