Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan is moving towards economic stabilization through disciplined reforms. He was virtually addressing the media at the launch of the Ministry's Monthly Development Report today. The Minister highlighted Pakistan's macroeconomic stability, development progress, and strategic responses to emerging global challenges.
According to Radio Pakistan, large-scale manufacturing recorded a strong recovery of 5.9 percent growth during the first eight months of the current fiscal year. Remittances touched the mark of 30.3 billion dollars, while exports of goods and services reached 30.6 billion dollars during the first nine months of the current fiscal year. The current account also showed resilience, posting a surplus of 1.07 billion dollars last month.
