Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari says Pakistan looks forward to working closely with Australia to advance common objectives of peace and shared prosperity.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a felicitation message on the occasion of the National Day of the Commonwealth of Australia, the President said Pakistan values its friendly and constructive relations with Australia, grounded in mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a long-standing record of cooperation across diverse fields.

He expressed confidence that enhanced leadership-level engagement will further deepen mutual understanding and expand collaboration in trade, investment, agriculture, and education.
