Pakistan Lauds Turkish Role in Energy Exploration


Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, has expressed satisfaction over Turkish Petroleum’s participation in offshore and onshore exploration in Pakistan. He conveyed his appreciation while meeting with the Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroglu, who visited him in Islamabad today.



According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting also involved discussions on the upcoming visit of the Turkish Energy Minister, Alparslan Bayraktar, and his delegation to Pakistan. The visit is scheduled for tomorrow, and it includes a representative from a significant company within the Turkish mineral sector.



Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasized that the visit of the Turkish Energy Minister is expected to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye in the energy and minerals sectors. He also noted the strengthening of partnerships between OGDCL, PPL, and Murree Energies with Turkish Petroleum, which he believes will bolster their collaboration on a global scale.
