Pakistan joins the international community in commemorating the United Nations Day today. In a statement, Foreign Office said on this day, Pakistan commends the role of United Nations and all its agencies, funds and programs working in Pakistan for their role in supporting socio-economic development. This day marks the collective resolve of the international community to establish conditions for justice, social progress, and to save the succeeding generations from the scourge of war.
