Pakistan, Iran Vow to Deepen Bilateral Ties


Islamabad: Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Dr. Ali Larijani, who is on an official visit to Pakistan, held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral ties in various areas and enhancing cooperation on regional and international issues of mutual interest.



According to Radio Pakistan, discussions between Dr. Larijani and Mohammad Ishaq Dar focused on strengthening collaboration in sectors that are pivotal for both countries. The talks underscored the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation to address challenges and opportunities in the region.



Both Pakistan and Iran highlighted their shared interests and the potential benefits of enhanced cooperation. The meeting served as a platform to explore new avenues for partnership and to reinforce existing bilateral agreements.
