Islamabad: Saint Petersburg: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik announced that Pakistan has introduced comprehensive reforms for investment in the country’s mineral sector, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He shared these developments during a high-level panel session held in Saint Petersburg, coinciding with the World Economic Forum 2025.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that Pakistan has aligned its mineral sector with the international legal framework standards. He highlighted the completion of the Minerals Framework Policy and the feasibility study of the Reko Diq project as significant milestones in this reform process.
Ali Pervaiz Malik also extended an invitation to global investors to engage in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum, underscoring the country’s commitment to attracting international investment in its mineral sector.
