Karachi: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan says Pakistan is heading towards progress and economic stability due to prudent policies undertaken by the present government. Talking to the media after inaugurating the Food and Agriculture Expo in Karachi today, he said Pakistani products have gained space in international markets due to the value addition and quality of products.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jam Kamal Khan stated that Pakistan has explored the African market for trade, which has produced encouraging results. He emphasized that the government is conducting structural reforms to improve the national economy and increase trade.

The Commerce Minister also mentioned that the trade and business community is being facilitated, and in response to the demand of exporters, the Prime Minister has ordered the abolition of the export development surcharge to assist them.
