Islamabad: Minister for Law and Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, met with German Ambassador to Pakistan, Anna Lepel, in Islamabad today to discuss matters of mutual interest.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Anna Lepel expressed appreciation for Pakistan's significant legal reforms, notably the establishment of a National Commission for the Protection of Journalists and Media Professionals. Both parties agreed to bolster cooperation between Pakistan and Germany in the field of human rights and to maintain constructive engagement on shared priorities.
