Pakistan, Egypt Have Vast Potential for Cooperation: Tanveer


Islamabad: Pakistan and Egypt have immense potential for cooperation in diverse fields, including food security, biotechnology, and sustainable agricultural practices. This was stated by Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain during a ceremony celebrating Egypt’s National Day in Islamabad on Thursday.



According to Radio Pakistan, the minister highlighted that mutual experiences of both countries in managing water scarcity and environmental issues could lead to productive partnerships between research institutions and the private sector. He emphasized the importance of collaboration in these areas to address common challenges.



Minister Hussain also acknowledged Egypt’s consistent support for Pakistan on key regional and international issues, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. He expressed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for this principled and brotherly support from Egypt.



Furthermore, the minister extended warm greetings to the government and people of Egypt on the occasion of Egypt’s National Day, reinforcing the strong ties between the two nations.
