Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that Pakistan seeks to strengthen its relations with Australia, particularly in agriculture, livestock, and the export of high-quality meat. He conveyed this intention during a meeting with the outgoing High Commissioner of Australia, Neil Hawkins, in Islamabad. The Prime Minister praised Australia’s positive contributions to global peace efforts, especially in the Middle East.
According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif expressed satisfaction with the progress made in economic reform over the past eighteen months. He highlighted that structural economic reforms have been implemented and assured that these efforts would continue to ensure the consolidation of economic achievements.
The Australian High Commissioner acknowledged Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence and its contributions to peace in South Asia, the Middle East, and globally. He also commended the Prime Minister’s initiatives that have led to economic stabilization and have set Pakistan on a path to economic recovery.
