The Minister shared that electricity costs have dropped by twenty percent over the last eighteen to twenty months, with a reduction of over thirty-five percent for industry and protected consumers. He encouraged citizens to participate in the Fan Replacement Program and take full advantage of easy terms and conditions of the initiative.

Awais Leghari stated that replacing old, traditional fans with energy-efficient models will help mitigate the issue of peak-hour electricity usage, lower the country's carbon footprint, and help individuals save money on their bills. During the ceremony, Minister for Climate Change Musadik Masood Malik emphasized that the welfare of the poor people remains the primary focus of the government's policies. He noted that the Prime Minister Fan Replacement Program is specifically designed to make life easier and more affordable for underprivileged citizens.
