Jeonju: Pakistan has emerged victorious in the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025, securing a decisive 60-35 win over Maldives in Jeonju, South Korea. The team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, showcasing their dominance on the court.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari extended his congratulations to the Pakistani team for their remarkable achievement. In his message of felicitation, he highlighted the team’s victory as a moment of glory for the nation. President Zardari praised the players for their outstanding performance and expressed optimism for future successes.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated the team on this significant achievement. In a post on his X handle, he described it as a proud moment for the nation and recognized it as another milestone for women in sports.

Additionally, Chairman of the Pakistan Netball Federation Mudassir Arian, along with President Sameen Malik and Secretary General Muhammad Riaz, offered their congratulations to the Pakistani team, underscoring the collective pride in this accomplishment.
