Pakistan-China Economic Relations Expanding: Ali Pervaiz

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has announced that economic relations between Pakistan and China are expanding into new sectors, including petroleum and minerals. He made these remarks at a special ceremony celebrating the Chinese New Year at the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister extended congratulations to the Chinese leadership, government, and people on the occasion of the Chinese New Year. He emphasized that the Year of the Horse symbolizes the strength and enduring nature of the friendship between Pakistan and China.

Ali Pervaiz Malik highlighted that several joint projects are currently underway between the two countries, particularly in the minerals sector. He noted that after the success of the Saindak project, the Siah Diq project is set to be the next significant milestone in mineral cooperation between Pakistan and China.

During the ceremony, the Chinese Ambassador reiterated his country's commitment to maintaining close cooperation with Pakistan in various sectors, with a focus on energy and minerals.
