Pakistan Calls for Durable Resolution of Kashmir Dispute


Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has called for a durable resolution of the Kashmir dispute to ensure peace in the region.



According to Radio Pakistan, in an interview with Newsweek, Ambassador Sheikh firmly denied any involvement of Pakistan in the recent attack in Pahalgam. He emphasized that Pakistan is concentrating on the geo-economics aspect of its geography and foreign policy, highlighting that the pursuit of peace aligns with the country’s economic goals.



Ambassador Sheikh further clarified that while Pakistan desires peace, it insists on achieving it with dignity. He stated that in the event of a conflict, Pakistan stands ready to defend its territorial integrity.
