Washington d.c.: Pakistan and the United States have articulated their intention to enhance economic cooperation, focusing on trade and investment. This mutual understanding was achieved during a meeting between a Pakistani delegation, led by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick at the Department of Commerce in Washington D.C.
According to Radio Pakistan, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing their engagement in major investment projects in the upcoming months. The Finance Minister acknowledged the efforts of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in organizing the U.S.-Pakistan Trade and Investment Forum, scheduled for the 31st of next month. The forum is expected to attract prominent companies from both nations.
Finance Minister Aurangzeb expressed optimism that the office of the U.S. Commerce Secretary would also participate in the forthcoming forum, highlighting the potential for collaborative opportunities in trade and investment sectors.
