Pakistan and United Kingdom to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation Across Sectors

New york: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, with a focus on enhancing people-to-people exchanges. This understanding was reached during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs Yvette Cooper. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level UN Security Council meeting on Palestine in New York.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders reviewed the current state of Pak-UK relations and highlighted the importance of maintaining sustained high-level engagement. In addition to bilateral matters, Ishaq Dar and Yvette Cooper exchanged views on key regional and international developments. They reaffirmed their commitment to dialogue, multilateralism, and effective cooperation, including within the framework of the United Nations.
