Islamabad: The United Kingdom’s Minister of State for International Development, Baroness Jenny Chapman, met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, in Islamabad today to discuss cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the significant role played by the Pakistani-British community, which acts as a crucial link between the two countries. The discussions also covered regional and international developments, with a particular focus on ongoing international peace efforts concerning Gaza.
In a related diplomatic engagement, UAE Ambassador Salem Mohammed Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi also paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. Ishaq Dar extended warm congratulations on the 54th Eid Al Etihad of the UAE, underscoring the longstanding fraternal ties and strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE. He expressed best wishes to the Ambassador for a successful tenure in Islamabad, as both countries aim to further deepen their enduring bilateral relationship for mutual progress and prosperity.
