Pakistan and UAE Forge Stronger Ties to Combat Narcotics


Islamabad: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to enhance cooperation in counter-narcotics. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chairman of UAE’s National Anti-Narcotics Authority, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Interior Minister assured the UAE of Pakistan’s full support and cooperation in counter-narcotics efforts. He highlighted Pakistan’s significant role in the war against drugs and emphasized that elements associated with this heinous trade are being dealt with firmly.



On the occasion, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan stated that the UAE would extend all possible cooperation in the fight against narcotics, signaling a strong partnership between the two nations in tackling this global challenge.
