Islamabad: Pakistan and Syria have reiterated their commitment to deepen their friendly relations and work collaboratively for the mutual benefit of their citizens. This development emerged from a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Syrian Ambassador Dr. Ramez Alraee in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, both parties engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening the longstanding fraternal ties between the two nations. They also explored avenues for enhanced bilateral cooperation, signaling a shared desire to bolster their partnership.
The Finance Minister expressed optimism that the removal of U.S. sanctions on Syria would facilitate the country’s reintegration into the international community. He highlighted the potential opportunities this could create for investment and bilateral trade, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Syria’s growth and development.
Furthermore, the Finance Minister assured Ambassador Alraee of Pakistan’s unwavering support for Syria in every possible manner, reinforcing the longstanding solidarity between the two countries.
