Islamabad: Pakistan and Russia have agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of counter-terrorism and anti-narcotics. This consensus was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and the Russian ambassador to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, held in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted terrorism as an international challenge and stressed the need for collective efforts to combat it. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening relations with Russia and pointed out the vast opportunities for bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Furthermore, the Russian ambassador extended an invitation to Pakistani officials to participate in anti-narcotics training programs in Moscow and Siberia, further strengthening the collaborative efforts between the two nations.
