Muscat: Pakistan and Oman have reached an understanding to enhance bilateral engagement, aiming to strengthen their ties further. The agreement was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Oman’s Royal Minister General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani in Muscat.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on bilateral relations and addressing visa-related issues encountered by Pakistani nationals. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the significant contribution of millions of Pakistanis working in Oman to its economic development. He emphasized that streamlining visa processes would provide more opportunities for skilled Pakistani workers in Oman.

Interior Minister Naqvi expressed Pakistan’s intent to expand its partnership with Oman across various levels. In response, Omani Royal Minister General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani reiterated the historic and brotherly relationship between the two nations.

The discussions also covered the regional situation, with both leaders underscoring the importance of enhancing bilateral engagement to further solidify the ties between Pakistan and Oman.
