Samarkand: Pakistan and Norway have reached an agreement to expand their cooperation in the education sector, with a particular focus on digital learning, teacher training, technical education, and inclusive learning opportunities. This understanding was achieved during a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, and Norway’s Minister of Education, Kari Nessa Nordtun. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand.

According to Radio Pakistan, Wajiha Qamar emphasized the Pakistani government’s commitment to equipping youth with digital skills and vocational training. These efforts aim to prepare them for future job markets, enhancing their employability and adaptability in an evolving global economy.

The Norwegian Minister, Kari Nessa Nordtun, expressed Oslo’s continued willingness to collaborate with Pakistan in this domain. The mutual agreement aims to foster educational development and bridge gaps in access to quality learning experiences, leveraging the strengths of both nations to achieve these goals.
