Islamabad: Pakistan and Myanmar have agreed to further enhance cultural cooperation, focusing on the Gandhara Civilization and community-based projects. This understanding was reached during a meeting between Syed Usman Tahir, Honorary Advisor to the Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, and U Wunna Han, Ambassador of the Republic Union of Myanmar, held in Islamabad.
According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Usman Tahir briefed the Ambassador on Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and significant historical sites. The meeting highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and collaboration in preserving and promoting the diverse cultural narratives of both nations.
Ambassador U Wunna Han emphasized the potential for future joint initiatives aimed at deepening bilateral cultural ties. The discussion underscored the mutual benefits of such cooperation, which could lead to strengthened relations and enhanced cultural understanding between the two countries.
