Mashad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu, on the sidelines of the 28th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers in Mashad, Iran. The two leaders discussed a range of bilateral issues and reached a consensus on strengthening their countries' ties through increased connectivity, trade, and people-to-people interactions. According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions between the Deputy Prime Ministers also covered recent regional and global developments. They highlighted the significance of regional platforms in improving inter-regional connectivity and trade cooperation among the member states of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar engaged in talks with Dr. Asad Majeed, the Secretary General of ECO. Their discussions centered on the pivotal role ECO plays in promoting regional cooperation by enhancing trade links, regional connectivity, and fostering people-to-people contacts.
