Islamabad: Pakistan and Jordan have agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in counter-narcotics operations and police training. Consensus to this effect was reached at a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Jordanian counterpart, H.E. Mazen Abdullah Hilal Al-Faraya.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement posted on his social media account X, the Minister said both sides discussed avenues to enhance collaboration between the two countries. Mohsin Naqvi stated that both countries agreed to deepen cooperation in various security-related sectors and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional linkages for regional stability and mutual benefit.

The Jordanian Minister underscored the special importance his country attaches to its relations with Pakistan.
