Pakistan and Indonesia Forge Cooperation with Seven New MoUs and Agreements


Islamabad: Pakistan and Indonesia have signed seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Agreements to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. The signing ceremony, held in Islamabad today, was witnessed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.



According to Radio Pakistan, the MoUs and agreements cover cooperation in higher education, a grant program for Indonesian state scholarships, and the facilitation of business development for small and medium enterprises. Additional agreements focus on collaboration between national archives, narcotics control, and cooperation in preventing and combating illicit drug trafficking. The two nations also agreed on cooperation in Halal trade and certification, as well as in the field of health.



These agreements mark a significant step in strengthening the relationship between Pakistan and Indonesia, aiming to benefit various sectors and promote mutual growth and development.
