Pakistan and Hong Kong to Strengthen Economic Ties

Islamabad: Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal met with Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China, John Lee Ka-Chiu, in Hong Kong. They discussed deepening trade, economic cooperation, and enhancing people-to-people linkages between Pakistan and Hong Kong.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Executive appreciated Jam Kamal's address at the Belt and Road Summit, particularly his emphasis on international cooperation, connectivity, and shared economic prosperity. Jam Kamal reiterated Pakistan's dedication to its historic relationship with China and expressed the importance of expanding trade and economic relations with Hong Kong. Both parties confirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and exploring new areas of mutual economic interest.
