Pakistan and Finland Emphasize Joint Efforts for Social Cohesion


Islamabad: Finland has appreciated Pakistan for ongoing initiatives to create an inclusive environment in the country. The appreciation was expressed by Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland Archbishop Tapio Luoma and Ambassador of Finland to Pakistan Hannu Ripatti during a meeting with the Minister for Human Rights Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad on Friday.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions highlighted optimism for further cooperation between the government, civil society, and international partners to promote human rights and peaceful coexistence. The meeting underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to strengthen social cohesion, ensuring that all citizens can live with dignity, equality, and security.
