Karachi: Pakistan and Denmark have agreed on a two billion dollar partnership for the development of maritime infrastructure due to the efforts of Special Investment Facilitation Council. The plan includes upgrading logistics infrastructure and generating renewable energy from the ports. The primary objective of the project is to reduce environmental pollution and align the maritime industry with better energy resources and technologies.

According to Radio Pakistan, adopting modern maritime technologies is expected to increase Pakistan’s exports and promote long-term economic growth. The partnership aims to enhance the efficiency of Pakistan’s maritime infrastructure, thereby contributing to the country’s economic development. The use of renewable energy is also a key component of the plan, aiming to make the maritime sector more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
