Pakistan and Bahrain to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation Across Various Sectors

Islamabad:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized Pakistan's commitment to bolstering cooperation with Bahrain in multiple areas such as trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.

According to Radio Pakistan, this statement was made during a meeting with Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, who visited Islamabad to co-chair the 3rd session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission alongside Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the positive development in relations between the two nations. He warmly welcomed Dr. Al Zayani and extended his best wishes to the leadership and people of Bahrain, reaffirming Pakistan's appreciation for the longstanding, brotherly ties based on shared values and mutual trust.

Dr. Al Zayani conveyed greetings from Bahrain's leadership and reiterated Bahrain's dedication to strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual benefit. Both parties discussed regional and international developments, highlighting the importance of ongoing consultations and coordination on issues of common interest.

The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the Joint Ministerial Commission's session would further enhance bilateral cooperation and contribute to deepening the multifaceted relationship between Pakistan and Bahrain.
