Pakistan and Azerbaijan to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation with $2 Billion Investment


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar today held a telephonic conversation with Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov to discuss the realization of Azerbaijani investment of two billion dollars in Pakistan. The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and agreed to enhance them further.



According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of high-level engagements in strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijan cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The conversation highlighted the mutual commitment to bolster economic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration.



It was agreed to finalize a mechanism that would facilitate Azerbaijani investments in identified sectors of Pakistan’s economy. This development is seen as a significant step towards deepening economic relations between the two countries and leveraging shared interests for mutual benefit.
