Pakistan Always Welcomes Sikh Pilgrims at Their Religious Sites: Arora

Lahore: Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has passed a resolution, denunciating the Indian government’s repeated denial of permission for Sikh pilgrims to visit their religious places in Pakistan. This resolution was passed during a meeting of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, held in Lahore on Saturday under the chairmanship of the President of the committee, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora termed the Indian action as a blatant violation of religious freedom and fundamental human rights. He emphasized that Pakistan has always welcomed Sikh pilgrims at sacred sites such as Nankana Sahib, Kartarpur, and Panja Sahib, while the Indian government continues to deprive its own citizens of this basic right.
