Karachi: Pakistan Navy has commenced its major maritime Exercise SEASPARK-2026 in Karachi. The exercise is designed to rigorously test the combat readiness of the Pakistan Navy against both conventional and emerging maritime threats.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Naval Chief presided over the Opening Brief of the exercise, alongside senior officers from across Pakistan's Armed Forces. The exercise is a large-scale operation that integrates Ships, Submarines, Aircraft, Unmanned Systems, Marines, Special Forces, as well as elements from the Army and Air Force.

Earlier, the Chief of the Naval Staff visited PN Fleet units to review ongoing operations. He addressed the officers and men, emphasizing that the evolving security environment necessitates uncompromising readiness, enhanced tri-service integration, and the ability to adapt effectively across both physical and information domains.

Exercise SEASPARK-2026 is focused on rehearsing Multi-Domain Operations by combining maritime, air, land, cyber, and space-enabled capabilities. It also emphasizes Operations in the Information Environment to secure a decisive advantage in the information battlespace, complementing kinetic operations at sea.
