Islamabad: Pakistan Air Force observed Yaum-e-Tashakur with due reverence and dignity at its airbases across the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, flag hoisting ceremonies were organized at Air Headquarters in Islamabad, Badaber Base in Peshawar, and PAF academies in Risalpur and Korangi, Karachi. During these ceremonies, glowing tributes were paid to the PAF falcons for inflicting a crushing defeat on India in response to its unprovoked aggression.

The ceremonies also served to reaffirm the resolve that Pakistan Air Force always remains ready to give a befitting response to any aggression by the enemy. As part of the observance, floral wreaths were laid at the memorials of the martyrs and Fateha was recited.
